Brenae Harris scores 2 of her team high 20 in Marion Hardings 68-43 win over Mansfield Senior ..

Marion Hardings 2-headed monster of Shawnta Dyer and Brenae Harris was too much for Rachael Mayan and her Lady Tygers to over-come, as the Lady Presidents take care of business with a 68-43 victory.

The Lady Presidents started the game with a nice run that would have them up by as many as 10 and give them an 18-10 advantage after one quarter of play. But Rachael Mahan and her 15 first half points would keep the Lady Tygers within striking distance, as they trailed Marion Harding by just 7, 31-24, heading into the break. The Lady Presidents would jump all over Mansfield Senior in the 3rd quarter, as defensive pressure would force the Lady Tygers into several miscues, leading to a host of buckets for Marion Harding. Trailing by 19 after 3 quarters of play, 50-31, Mansfield Senior was never able to get back into the game as the Lady Presidents did a nice job protecting the ball and their big lead. Brenae Harris led Marion Harding with 20 points, Shawta Dyer had 17 and Lakia Baldwin chipped in with 11. Rachael Mahan led all scorers with 27 points for Mansfield Senior, Ciera Gingery contributed with 6 in her last game as a Lady Tyger.

The Lady Presidents improve to 23-0 with the win and will play for a district title vs Perrysburg(16-6) Saturday afternoon at 2:00 at University of Findlay.
