March is Multiple Sclerosis Awareness Month and to get the word out about the autoimmune disease that affects the central nervous system, an M-S rally was held Tuesday in Mansfield's Central Park.

People gathered around the Central Park Gazebo adorned in orange attire to draw attention for the need to find a cure for M-S, a chronic and unpredictable disease that can cause blindness, loss of balance, problems with memory and concentration and paralysis.

The annual M-S walk to raise money to find a cure for the disease will be held at noon, May 1 at Lexington Community Park. You can register to join the walk by going to the web link www.walkohio.nationalm-ssociety.org
