Ohio Attorney General Richard Cordray and Catholic Charities Diocese of Toledo are hosting a Financial Fitness Fair on March 13 from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. at the Richland County Longview Center at 1495 West Longview Ave.

On Wednesday the Financial Fitness Fair planning committee met at the United Way of Richland Office in Mansfield to finalize the details of the event.

Nick Perez, Regional Public Affairs Outreach Director for the Ohio Attorney General's Office said the the event is geared towards helping individuals get through these tough economic times.

Perez said the National Consumer Proetction Week event will offer free resources to help protect your privacy, manage money and debt, avoid identity theft, understand credit and mortgages and steer clear of scams.

Perez said 20 exhibitors will be featured at the event and Key Bank will provide a continental breakfast.
