The 35th Annual Swim for Diabetes will be held on Sunday, Feb. 28 at 40 Central Ohio swimming pools and will benefit the Central Ohio Diabetes Association.

The swim will take place from 9 a.m. until 2 p.m. at the Mansfield Area Y at 750 Scholl Road and from 2-6 p.m. at Ashland University.  It also will be held from 1-5 p.m. at the Marion Family YMCA at 645 Barks Road.

More than 1,500 participants are expected to swim or walk laps at area pools and collect pledges for each lap they complete.

Last year, more than $154,000 was raised.
