Search teams find the body of the final victim in a hot air balloon disaster in Virginia. The balloon exploded Friday, sending three people, the pilot and two passengers, plunging to the ground below. One of their last pictures. posted on Instagram, two friends smiling in the basket of a hot air balloon, getting ready for what night have been a frat adventure. From their tethered practice flight Friday morning, it was hours before this fateful ascent in the blue balloon. "Tried it at 6:30 a.m., but it was too foggy. Will go up this evening "anxiety" writes Ginny Doyle, a basketball coach for the women's team at the University of Richmond. Hours later, spectators at the Mid-Atlantic Balloon Festival in Doswell, Virginia, see a balloon burning after hitting a power line. "Have visual of the airborne and hot air balloon, it appears to be still smoking still pretty high in the air." "Got a report that the basket has come off and we're trying to find that right now. " "Advise all units the airborne balloons aren't the issue we need to locate the basket" Doyle and her co-worker, Natalie Lewis, were on board the balloon with their pilot. "He was taking every step he could to manage the situation and extinguish the fire," Corrine Geller, of the Virginia State Police. But after a small explosion, the basket and the balloon separated. "During the investigation, we will examine the man, the machine and the environment," says Heidi Moats of the National Transportation Safety Board's Air Safety Agency. Witnesses say they saw two people jump, or fall, as the balloon burned. "And you could hear them screaming 'Please dear God, sweet Jesus, we're going to die, oh my God, please help us, please help us," says Carrie Hager-Bradley, a witness. The National Transportation Safety Board is investigating the crash.
