On Friday at 4:30, the final North Central Conference track meet will be held in North Robinson at Colonel Crawford. The Eagles are the defending small school champion. But this season there is no small school, big school division and if Crawford is going to win the meet they'll have to run past, out jump and out throw the favorite, Galion.

Eagles track coach Preston Foy says the Tigers are very deep on both the girls and boys side. Foy feels if his team can stay close through the field events they may have a shot in the boys meet. On the girls side with a young squad he believes his team can finish as high as second, but will also get a push from Wynford.

One of the athletes the Eagles will look to rely on is Dylan Gulley who will compete in the long Jump (19'9"), high jump (6'0") 100 and 400 meter dash. Crawford also looks to score in the throwing events with sophomore thrower Noah Fergeson who has throw 47' in the shot putt and 142' in the discus. On the girls team, CC features one of the best sprinters in the area in senior Chelsey Webster who will compete in the 100 meters(12.3), 200(26.4) and 400 meter dash(59.6).

Next season Colonel Crawford and nearly every other Crawford County school in the NCC will be competing in the new Northern 10.
