Kingwood Center held their Garden Discovery Day, which was the launching point for their spring and summer events. The discovery day offered visitors a chance to purchase various plants for their gardens, see what each vendor had for sale, and enjoy Kingwood Center's blooming, lush gardens.

Other events coming up include two "Fairy Garden" workshops that takes place on Saturday, May 10th, where visitors can make small or large fairy gardens, from 10:00-11:30 AM and from 1:00-2:30 PM. To register for Kingwood Center's Fairy Garden Classes, call 419-522-0211, extension 107. Class space is limited, so sign up soon. There's also an event for beekeepers and bee enthusiasts on the 10th, taking place from 12 PM to 4 PM. Visitors can learn more about bees and ways to take care of them at home, if they are interested in keeping some.
