Time to start spring clean-up, not only in and around your home, but around your town as well.

The 2013 Earth Stewardship Celebration gets underway in April and May with with people invited to register to conduct beautification projects.

Mansfield Litter Prevention and Recycling Coordinator Kim Hildreth says projects can include litter pick-up, a tree planting, anything that makes your home, business, and community look better.

And she says cleaning up your town does more than just make it look pretty.

It can bring in money and jobs because business owners look around a city before they move in.

Call 419-755-9702 to register your project by May third.

Awards and prizes are available for the best beautification efforts.
